Analyst Position
Description. Treya Partners is a boutique management consulting firm that provides strategic sourcing and spend management advisory services to private equity, mid-market, and public sector clients. Treya offers an exciting, high-growth startup environment in which junior team members have the opportunity to work directly with veterans of top-tier consulting firms, senior executives of client companies (CEOs, CFOs, and COOs), and be involved with multiple aspects of a startup business.
Treya is looking for highly motivated, self-driven, talented individuals who are attracted to a fast-paced entrepreneurial professional services environment. Analysts are primarily responsible for delivering consulting services to our clients and are also expected to support business development and firm building efforts. On the client delivery front, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Analysts work closely with Managers, Directors, Principals, and Partners in a team setting. They are expected to handle multiple, unrelated workstreams.
Skills. Analysts must have strong quantitative, problem solving, interpersonal, leadership, client management, project management, teamwork, and presentation skills.
Professional Experience. 1 year of professional work experience, particularly in management consulting, strategic sourcing, or a similar environment is preferred.
Education. Undergraduate degree required, preferably in a quantitative discipline.
Location. The candidate can be based anywhere in the 48 contiguous United States, expected to travel to a client site 1 – 2 times a month for 1 – 3 days at a time (when deemed Covid-safe), and work from their home office the remainder of the time.
Other. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, is expected.

- Data analysis
- Industry and market research
- Client interviews
- Pricing and best practices benchmarking
- Contract reviews
- Development and implementation of innovative category sourcing strategies
- Execution of competitive bidding efforts (e.g. RFPs, RFQs, etc.)
- Supporting supplier negotiations
- Developing and presenting analysis, research findings, and recommendations to clients
- Building and maintaining relationships with mid- and senior-level clients and supplier partners
